Hello!
Thanks for visiting 5x5 Studio, my personal maker portfolio! My name is Bo and I live in Hyattsville, Maryland, with my wife and three cats. I am transmasculine and use they/them pronouns.
In my 9-5, I am part owner of Bluestone Woodwork, where we do CNC Fabrication and build large scale, heirloom quality furniture.
In my off time, I work on small personal projects. I love using tools, creating, and problem solving. This portfolio is a place for me to show off some of my work and hopefully reach people who I can work with to keep on building.
Each item in this portfolio is made by hand and one of a kind. I have a limited inventory of boxes, cutting boards, and other small items - If you see something you like, please feel free to reach out!
Resources
Provides scholarship opportunities, sliding scale classes, and redistributes hand tools for those from traditionally marginalized groups in chair making and green wood working. Classes are nationwide, in coordination with partner woodworking schools and shops.
Provides a variety of woodworking classes to women and gender non-conforming folks. Located in Baltimore, Maryland.
